Online Marketing And Communication Activities, OMACA, is a sole-trader company based in Sweden and owned by me, Maria Öst.
I am fascinated by communication and after acquiring my diploma as International Public Relations Professional with studies in Sweden and the US in 1998, I have been working with communication and marketing online.
During my years as an employee at a large Anglo/Swedish pharmaceutical company I developed and managed online initiatives and websites aimed at a global audience of health-care professionals. I also took part in sourcing and implementing a world-wide content management system which in the end became the biggest migration project ever attempted with 200 websites migrating during the first two years.
I enjoy brainstorming new ideas and solving my customers issues. I have a solid understanding of usability and always strive to make sure that the customer experience is excellent.
Together with my understanding of the needs of the business I also understand the basics of the underlying technologies. This means that I can translate between the techies and the business and make sure that the end results is what you intended.
